Management Team

Avi Basu

President & Chief Executive Officer

Avi Basu is the Founder and CEO of Connectiva and has been responsible for creating and executing Connectiva’s strategy since its inception. Under his leadership, Connectiva has transformed itself from an early stage product company into a leading global provider of revenue and risk management solutions. Avi has grown Connectiva’s revenues at more than 100% annually over the last 4 years by securing strategic sources of capital, leading major customer acquisitions and establishing key global alliances. Avi has over 17 years of experience in the communications and software industry and has held senior leadership positions in sales & business development, operations and professional services for global companies including LHS and SEMA.

 

Jack Kundamal

Chief Operating Officer

Jack Kundamal is responsible for managing Connectiva’s global operations. Jack has driven enterprise growth in software licensing, consulting and managed services and has been instrumental in driving Connectiva’s success. Jack has also made key contributions to business development and product strategy. He has more than 13 years of leadership experience in managing complex software development and professional services and also in leading global teams in business development and product management. Prior to joining Connectiva, Jack held senior management positions at LHS and Schlumberger-SEMA.

 

Dr. Amitava Maulik

Chief Scientist

Dr. Amitava Maulik is responsible for Connectiva’s research and development for products and major technology innovations and has over 20 years experience in the areas of data mining, data warehousing, high performance distributed computing, and enterprise software architecture. Over the last 8 years, Amitava has published his research in numerous technology journals and has presented at several international conferences and seminars. Prior to Connectiva, Amitava held executive positions at e-Force, I-Kinetics and Schlumberger. Amitava holds Bachelors and Masters degrees from IIT Kharagpur and a Ph.D. in computer engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute at Troy, NY.

 

Anandan Jayaraman (AJ)

Chief Product and Marketing Officer

Anandan Jayaraman (AJ) has worldwide responsibility for Connectiva’s corporate and product strategy, product management, marketing and sales consulting. AJ has extensive management experience in leading change, managing global business development, transforming go-to-market models and driving revenue growth in a number of enterprise software companies including SAP, Epiphany and Siebel Systems. AJ holds a MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and is a graduate of the Stanford Executive Program for senior executives at the Graduate School of Business, Stanford University.

 

Kaustav Ghosh

Senior Vice President of Business Development & Alliances, India

Kaustav Ghosh has over 17 years of experience in software and communications industry and is responsible for leading Connectiva’s business development initiatives and strategic partnerships in India. Kaustav played an integral part in establishing Connectiva’s global innovation center in India and was instrumental in establishing market presence in India, Middle East & Africa. Prior to joining Connectiva, Kaustav held leadership positions at several international software consulting companies including LHS, SEMA & Diyar United.

 

Krishnendu Sen Gupta (Krish)

General Manager, India and Senior Vice President

Krish is responsible for all business and technology operations of the India business unit including oversight of all development, support and services activities. Krish has a 25 year career in IT out of which the last 11 years have been in Telecom BSS related Strategy, Product Management, Account Management, Operations, Delivery and Transformation. Before joining Connectiva, Krish headed up Transformation and Consulting for a very large Strategic Outsourcing account of IBM. Krish has also worked in various executive positions at Convergys, UshaComm, Tata Elxsi, Microland and Wipro. Krish holds an engineering degree from Jadavpur University, Kolkota

 

Andrew Doyle

Vice President of Sales, EMEA

Andrew Doyle leads Connectiva’s sales efforts in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. He is a 25-year veteran of the IT and telecoms industries, having held senior roles at ICL / Fujitsu, Energis and Global Crossing as well as at revenue assurance companies Azure and Lavastorm. Andrew led sales and marketing and operations teams in Europe, the Middle East and Africa as well as Asia Pacific. He grew these businesses from zero to multi-million dollar revenue operations through a combination of direct sales and strategic relationships with partners including PricewaterhouseCoopers, Cap Gemini Ernst and Young, and Ericsson. Since entering the revenue management market in 2001, he has become a recognized industry leader with a deep understanding of the issues facing telecom operators from his first-hand experiences whilst at Energis and Global Crossing. He is a regular speaker at industry events on Revenue Assurance and Fraud

 

Adam Maghrouri

Vice President of Sales, North America

Adam Maghrouri leads Connectiva’s North American sales team. He has over a decade of experience in selling complex revenue management solutions to the telecommunications and the financial services industries. Adam has successfully developed partnerships with RBOCs, telcos, carriers, government agencies, financial institutions, brokerages, resellers and global enterprise clients for midsize and Fortune 1000 companies. He previously held senior sales positions at software companies including Mantas, Sotas, and ECtel.

 

Ram Ramamoorthy

Vice President of Sales, Asia Pacific

Ram leads all of Connectiva’s sales efforts in the Asia-Pacific region. He has over two decades of sales experience in the IT industry focusing on the telecom sector. Prior to joining Connectiva, Ram held senior sales positions in Sitronics Telecom Solutions, Azure Solutions, Perot Systems TSI, HP, Siemens Information Systems and DEC. Ram has successfully nurtured partnerships with local system integration players to sell into a wide spectrum of telecom operators in Asia-Pacific ranging from 100+ million sub Tier 1 players to green field operators.
