What Is Cache?

You must have encountered the word “Cache” and thought what it means and what is the use of it? Basically, a cache is the data files that get stored on our computer; caches are of two types: one that stores in the files manager of our system and other that stores locally on the web browser whenever we visit a website.

These files contain the data that we input on a particular website, for example, username, password, address, etc. The reason for storing this data is to provide a smoother experience to a user, when they visit a particular website again. Caches are most used on the websites that have a user login panel, most of the caches files expire after a few hours, but some stay active for an even longer time period.
